Our Story
PCR was established in 1989 to develop database systems for large corporations such as IBM, MCI, NASDAQ, USAir and The White House.
One of PCR’s founders, a teacher at the Connelly School of the Holy Child in Maryland, struggled with the process of recording grades and writing report card comments. With the assistance of PCR's founder and chief strategist, PCR's first teacher software, PCR Educator, was born.
Today, PCR Educator system leverages the power of Cloud Computing to manage every aspect of schools' data. From admissions to contracts, parent teacher conferences to fundraising events, finance to website, PCR is an integral partner in the school experience, mission and focus.
We
We believe in smart people. We employ the best engineers - from John Hopkins, Virginia Tech and other top engineering schools. Most of our engineers have advanced degrees in Computer Science and Math. We are not implementing tasks; we are finding elegant solutions to sophisticated problems.
The team has extensive hands on experience in application development and web design as well as all areas of e-commerce, server management, search engine optimization, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL, XHTML/HTML, CSS and JavaScript. PCR developed its own non-Flash animation that works on iphones and iPads. By the way, our web sites load a lot faster than the ones from other companies because we don't just develop some code, we create the code.
