LiveWrite API - Get Import Columns
The LiveWrite API GetImportColumns method allows API users to retrieve the list of available columns for a specific LiveWrite API import template. This applies to both Importing New Records and Importing Data for Existing Records.

To use the GetImportColumns method, five inputs are required: the username, password, school name, import name, and the forUpdate flag. 

Once these inputs are provided, the method returns the list of available column names for the selected LiveWrite API import.

Note: The forUpdate value must be set to 0 (Importing New Records) or 1 (Importing Data for Existing Records).
