Silver Spring, MD — PCR Educator announced today a significant expansion of its Health Sciences platform module, adding structured accreditation workflow support for nursing programs preparing for ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) and CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) review cycles. The new capabilities are now available to all PCR Educator customers serving nursing and allied health programs.
The expansion addresses a gap that health sciences program administrators have consistently raised: accreditation documentation, curriculum mapping, and licensure tracking have historically been managed in spreadsheets or standalone tools disconnected from the student information system. The result is duplicated data entry, inconsistent records, and an accreditation process that is harder to manage than it needs to be. The new PCR Health Sciences tools bring those workflows into the same system that manages enrollment, billing, and student records.
Core capabilities in the expansion include Accreditation Workflow Management, which structures the documentation process against ACEN and CCNE standards and tracks completion status across departments. Curriculum Mapping connects course offerings to competency requirements and generates gap reports that identify where curriculum development is needed ahead of site visits. Licensure Tracking monitors student licensure eligibility, exam registration, and outcomes data at the individual and cohort level, with reporting designed to meet program submission requirements.
The expansion builds on PCR Educator's existing health sciences customer base, which includes nursing programs at independent colleges, community colleges, and affiliated hospital systems. The company entered the health sciences market in 2018 and has expanded its capabilities based on direct operational feedback from program directors and accreditation coordinators at customer institutions.
The Health Sciences module is available to new customers as part of the standard PCR Educator platform. Existing customers can access the new accreditation and curriculum tools through their standard support and implementation channels. For inquiries, contact info@pcreducator.com.
