To create a graduation requirement, add a plan in Administrator > Maintenance > Graduation Plans, then add its requirements in Administrator > Maintenance > Graduation Requirements. Both pages require the Registrar Full role.
- Navigate to Administrator > Maintenance > Graduation Plans.
- Enter the name of the Graduation Plan and click “Add New.”
- Navigate to Administrator > Maintenance > Graduation Requirements.
- Select the Graduation Plan, specify the requirements, enter the Required Number of Credits for that requirement, and click Add. Note: To create requirements, review Creating Course Requirement.
- Optionally, in the Credit Links section, add credit links that let extra credit from one requirement count toward another requirement on the plan. See Creating Graduation Requirement Credit Link.
Note: When a plan has credit links, its requirements are processed in the order they were added to the plan. Removing a requirement from the plan, for example to change its Required Number of Credits, also deletes its credit links. After you add the requirement again, it comes last in that order, and its credit links must be added again.
Note: To print a student's overall total, add a Total Credits requirement whose course requirement uses (Any course type), enter the total credits required for the diploma as its Required Number of Credits, and do not give it credit links. Then choose it in Totals Line when you request the transcript. See Transcript Totals Line.
