One of the following roles is required to access this query: Scheduling Full, Scheduling Read.

This DAT Query lists each current-year course section with its class size for one term. Class Size is the number of distinct students scheduled in the section who have an Enrolled status in the course's division.

The results show Course Name, Course Id, Section and Class Size, sorted by course name and section. The last row counts the sections in the Course Name column and totals the students in the Class Size column.

The Term is set as a DAT Parameterized Condition with a default of 1, allowing you to change the term on the Results screen (for example, 2 for the second semester or trimester).

To report on selected courses only, such as one division, courses that count toward GPA, or courses without very small or very large sections, go to Scheduling > Courses, filter and check the courses, choose DAT from the multi-action dropdown, and select this query.

Note: Run on its own, the query includes every section in every division, including advisories, study halls and clubs.
