The Staff Submit Forms CMS widget completes a staff form page. At submission it validates and saves every form widget on the page, records a staff action, sends the confirmation email, and takes the staff member to the page that follows. The Staff Submit Forms widget is found under the Registration option. Please review Adding CMS Widget for more information. To limit the visibility of this widget, review CMS - Conditional Logic.

The widget acts on the staff record of the signed in user, so that user must be linked to a staff record. When no staff record is linked, the widget reports that the forms cannot be submitted and nothing is saved.

Button Text is the label shown on the submit button.

Add Confirmation Email is the notification template sent to the staff member at submission. The templates are configured in Campus under Administrator, Staff, Email. Note: the templates offered here are the ones saved under the One email per teacher household option of that screen, and they must carry the Website Full or Website Read security role. A template saved under the default One email per teacher option is not listed.

Form Completed Action is the staff action recorded when the forms are submitted. The actions are defined in Campus under Action Setup, Actions. The action is dated the day of submission and recorded for the academic year selected on the staff record. Note: the page reports an error while this setting is empty. Without it no action is recorded and no PDF is archived.

Forms Archive Title is the title under which the submitted forms are archived on the staff record.

Forms Main Menu specifies the navigation menu of the form pages. When it is specified, submission produces a PDF of the forms and the staff member is taken to it before the success page. When that menu tracks completion, the menu item is marked complete at the same time.

Pdf Title is the title printed on the PDF of the submitted forms.

Start With New Line places the button on its own line instead of floating it beside the content above it.

Success Link is the page the staff member is taken to after submission. Note: the page reports an error while this setting is empty.

Example: a school that collects annual staff forms places the form widgets on a portal page and adds this widget below them, with Form Completed Action set to a Staff Annual Forms action and Success Link pointing at a thank you page. A staff member fills in the forms and submits once. The action is recorded on the staff record so the school can report on who has finished, and the confirmation email confirms the submission to the staff member.
