The Teachers widget lists the teachers of the student selected on a portal page, one row per teacher, for the student's classes in the current school year. The widget can be found within the Student Profile group. Please review Adding CMS Widget for more information.
A teacher appears when they are the teacher or the second teacher of one of the student's class sections in any term of the current school year. When the student has no teachers to show, the widget shows No records found.
Title is the heading shown above the list when the widget is placed in a panel.
Show Nickname shows the Nickname column next to the teacher name.
Teacher Page Presenter Page is the CMS page that opens in a new tab when a visitor clicks View in the Web Site column. The link passes the teacher to the page, so widgets on it that show a selected teacher, such as Teacher Page Presenter, show that teacher. View appears only for teachers who have saved a Teacher Page with the Teacher Page widget in the Staff group, unless Link All Teachers is checked.
Link All Teachers shows View for every teacher, including teachers who have not saved a Teacher Page. Use it when the presenter page shows information from the teacher record, such as the teacher's schedule or bio. A page built on the Teacher Page Presenter widget shows only the Teacher Pages that teachers have saved.
Example: To let families open each teacher's schedule from the student profile, place teacher schedule widgets on a CMS page, set Teacher Page Presenter Page to that page, and check Link All Teachers.
