Course List

A Course List is the Record List of course records. It is available in these modules:

- Admin > Courses > Courses. You need the Registrar Full or Registrar Read role.
- Scheduling > Courses. You need the Scheduling Full or Scheduling Read role.

The list always shows the courses of the selected school division. It does not have include all or all divisions checkboxes. When Next Year is selected on the home page, the Scheduling list works with next year's sections.

Column explanations:

Type and Level are the Course Type Level of the course. See Course Type Level.

# Sem / Tri is the number of semesters or trimesters the course runs.

GPA shows whether the course is included in GPA calculations, and Weight is its GPA weight.

TR shows whether the course is included on the transcript. ADV shows whether it is an advisory course, HR whether it is a homeroom course, and PR whether it has a prerequisite. Clicking the PR checkbox opens the course's prerequisites.

Alt Tr Name is the Transcript Course Name, the alternative name shown for the course on the transcript.

Priority is the Scheduling Priority used by the master schedule builder, and Def Sect Cap is the default capacity of new sections. These columns are hidden by default in Admin.

Min Grade and Max Grade are the grade levels a student must be to sign up for the course.

Product Id and Product Name identify the product charged when students sign up for the course through the portal.

Sections and Sections NY are the number of sections of the course in the current year and the next year. Clicking the number opens the course's sections.

Search fields worth knowing:

Course Type and Course Level find courses by their Course Type Level. Course Level compares as a number, so a search such as Course Level >= 3 works.

# of Sections finds courses by how many sections they have in the year being viewed, for example # of Sections = 0 to find courses without sections.

Include In GPA, Include on Trans, Is Advisory Course, Is Homeroom Course, and Has Prerequisite search the checkbox columns with Yes or No.

Course Prerequisite finds the courses that have the selected prerequisite. Min Grd Level and Max Grd Level search the grade level limits.
