Inquiry/Applicant List

An Inquiry/Applicant List is the Record List of inquiry records, which cover every stage of the admissions process from an initial inquiry through applicant, accepted, and enrolled. It is available in these modules:

- Admissions > Inquiries/Applicants. You need the Admissions Full or Admissions Read role.
- Financial Aid > Inquiries/Applicants. You need the FinancialAid Full or FinancialAid Read role.

include all and all divisions work the same way in both modules. By default the list shows inquiries for the selected school division who are applying for the Admissions Year specified in School Info or a later year, leaving out inquiries whose status is Copied. include all adds the inquiries whose status is Copied. all divisions adds the inquiries of every division and every year. Note: When an inquiry is enrolled, its status becomes either Copied or Enrolled, depending on the enrollment profile. Schools that no longer want enrolled inquiries on the list use Copied, and schools that want them to remain use Enrolled. Column explanations:

Academic Year is the year the inquiry is applying for.

Applying for Grade Int and Current Grade Int show the grade level code followed by its integer equivalent in parentheses, for the grade level the inquiry is applying for and the grade level currently attended. Sorting on these columns puts the grade levels in grade order even when the grade levels are letters.

D/B is Day or Boarding.

Last Action and Date show the most recent action recorded on the inquiry and its date.

# Assigned Evaluators is the number of evaluators assigned to the inquiry. See Assigning Evaluator.

Awarded and Accepted show the financial aid amounts and are available in the Financial Aid module.

Search fields worth knowing:

Assigned To finds the inquiries assigned to a staff member, matched by user name.

Last Action finds inquiries whose most recent action is of the selected type.

Applying For Grade (integer) searches on the integer equivalent defined for each grade level, so that grade levels can be compared with >= and <=. Applying for Grade and Current Grade search the grade level names as text.

Academic Year finds inquiries applying for a particular year, which matters when the list shows more than one year.
