CMS Widget - Deposit (Application Form)

Posted September 26, 2026

The CMS Widget - Deposit (Application Form) is a read-only table of the deposit a household pays when it signs an Application Form, with the amount due today. It is placed on the signing page and prints on the contract PDF. The widget is listed as Deposit within the Application Forms group. Please review Adding CMS Widget for more information. Note: A different widget, also named Deposit, exists within the Payments group for registration and online store pages; that widget is described in CMS Widget - Deposit.

When the widget is on the form, the deposit is taken out of the balance rather than added to it: the amount collected at signing reduces what remains on the payment schedule. The deposit of each selected product comes from the product's deposit settings, at the household's share, and is net of financial aid. Review Application Form Billing.

The table has the columns Item, Percent, and Amount and a Total row. When a card or e-check fee product is configured, a Processing Fee row and a second Total row are added, and a note below the table states the fee. A separate section is shown for each other payee, and the line Total due today closes the widget. When nothing is due, the widget shows No deposit due.

Summarize determines how the deposit is listed. When set to No, which is the default, every contributing product's deposit is listed on its own line. When set to Yes, the deposit is collapsed into one summarized line.

Card Fee Product Id is the id of the convenience fee product for credit card payments. It drives the fee note and the Processing Fee row. Leave it at 0 when card payments carry no fee. Note: Point it at the same fee product that the credit card auto-pay configuration of the CMS Widget - Sign and Submit button charges, so the fee displayed matches the fee charged.

Echeck Fee Product Id is the same setting for e-check payments. Leave it at 0 when e-check payments carry no fee.

Visibility Source and Visibility Value show the widget only when the referenced drop down or check box holds the given value.

Note: Add the CMS Widget - Payment Schedule widget to the same page to show the family the installments that follow the deposit.
