Application Form

Posted September 26, 2026

An Application Form is a multi-page online form, built in the Website, that a family completes and signs for a specific student, such as an enrollment contract, a re-enrollment agreement, or an admissions application. The form is priced from Finance products, split across the paying households of the student, signed by one or two parents per household, and archived as a PDF. Application Forms are the successor of the (Re) Enrollment Contract module: the (Re) Enrollment Contract remains available, while new agreements are designed as Application Forms directly on the school's CMS Portal.

Application Forms are managed in the Website administrative area under Admin > Applications > Application Forms. The Website Full role is required to access every Application Form page.

An Application Form is made of the following parts. Each part has its own article.

- Form is the CMS container that holds the form's settings, such as the academic year, the end date, the ledger, and the billing and signature rules. Review Application Form Details.
- Form Pages are the CMS pages the family walks through. They are managed as a site map in the order the family sees them. Review Application Form Pages.
- Widgets are the fields, text, and controls placed on each page. Ordinary CMS widgets such as check boxes and radio buttons gain pricing settings when placed on an Application Form. Review Application Form Widget Properties.
- Overrides vary a widget's price, text, or selection for a group of applicants that matches a filter combination. Review Application Form Overrides and Filter Combination.
- Invitation Types define which students, and which accepted applicants not yet enrolled, are eligible for the form through a filter combination: Saved Filters picked from Search Components. Review Application Form Invitation Type and Filter Combination.
- Invitations are created per student, either automatically from the invitation type filter or by hand, and carry one endorsement per paying household. Review Application Form Invitation.
- Student Overrides edit the frozen prices and selections of one applicant after the invitation has been started. Review Application Form Student Overrides.
- Copy duplicates a form with its pages, widgets, and menu into a new form that shares nothing with the original. Review Copying Application Form.

The family experience, from the invitation list through signing and the PDF, is described in Application Form Signing. The pricing, deposit, and split billing behavior is described in Application Form Billing. A step-by-step setup order is given in Configuring Application Form. The school's countersign of signed contracts is described in Application Form Countersigning, and the Campus list of every household's contract in Student Application Forms.

The following CMS widgets are specific to Application Forms: CMS Widget - Application Invitations, CMS Widget - Sign and Submit, CMS Widget - Signature Pad, CMS Widget - Submit Summary, CMS Widget - Deposit (Application Form), CMS Widget - Household Category Responsibility, CMS Widget - Financial Aid Awards, and CMS Widget - Payment Schedule.

Note: Every Application Form is also a CMS container, so the general CMS articles apply to it as well. Review CMS Page Details, CMS Widget, and CMS - Site Map for the shared behavior.
