The CMS Widget - Household Category Responsibility is a read-only table that shows the family how an Application Form's charges are divided between the student's households, per billing category. It lets a split family see each household's share before signing. The widget can be found within the Application Forms group. Please review Adding CMS Widget for more information.
For each billing category with a charge, the widget lists one row per household with the columns Household, Addressee, Primary Contact, Email (hidden by default), Bill To, Share, and Amount. The share is the household's frozen split percentage and the amount is that share of the category total.
Label is the caption shown above the table.
Amount Basis, on the Application Form tab, selects the total that the Amount column divides. My Responsibility, the default, and Prorated Amount both use the student's total after proration, since the table already divides the whole student total by household. Full Amount uses the list price before proration.
Columns shows, hides, and orders the table columns.
Confirmation Text is retained from earlier versions of the widget, which showed an acknowledgement check box. The check box is no longer shown; a visible widget counts as acknowledged.
Visibility Source and Visibility Value show the widget only when the referenced drop down or check box holds the given value.
Pdf Label Style and Pdf Response Style set the font style of the caption and the table on the PDF.
Note: The widget is display only. Billing reads the frozen shares on each household's endorsement. The shares come from Finance > Splits for the form's Split Billing Category at the time the invitation was created; review Application Form Invitation. Review Application Form Billing.
