Staff List

A Staff List is the Record List of staff records. It is available in these modules:

- Admin > Staff. You need the Admin Full or Admin Read role.
- Scheduling > Staff. You need the Scheduling Full or Scheduling Read role.

By default the list shows the staff of the selected school division whose records are marked Is Active?. The include all checkbox adds the staff whose Is Active? is cleared. The all divisions checkbox adds the staff of the other divisions. See Staff / Teacher by Division for when a staff member belongs to a division.

A staff member is also one of the two contacts of a household record. The name, gender, ethnic group, employer, job title, and industry come from that household contact, and the remaining fields are recorded on the staff record itself.

Column explanations:

Office is free text, so it can hold a room, a building, or a department, whatever your school records there.

Alternate Id is an extra identifier you can record for the staff member, alongside the Id that PCR Educator assigns.

Status is the Employment Status of the staff member. Its choices are configured on the staff member's Details page by clicking the Employment Status link, which requires the DBA Full role.

Lunch Table is the lunch table recorded for the staff member. Its choices are configured on the staff member's Details page by clicking the Lunch Table link, which requires the DBA Full role.

Employer, Job Title, Industry, Ethnic Group, and URL are hidden by default. The first three are the employment fields of the household contact, and URL is the web address recorded for the staff member.

Id is the identifier PCR Educator assigns to the staff member. It is the number that other pages and imports use to point at this staff record.

Search fields worth knowing:

Alt Staff Id searches the Alternate Id column.

Attribute Current, Attribute Category Current, Attribute Ever, and Attribute Category Ever are described in Searching by Attribute.

Employer, Industry, and Job Title search the employment fields of the household contact.

Employment Status searches the Status column.

Hired Date compares as a date, so a search such as Hired Date >= 1/1/2020 works.

Staff Id searches the Id column.
